Just days after its updated Android, Google Maps is available on the App Store for all owners of an iPhone, iPad and iPod touch running iOS 6. It incorporates all the latest features of the service. This update application will discover a multitude of places to eat, drink, sleep or shopping anywhere in the world. The application is full of recommendations, through services like Zagat or Google Offers, integrated with search results. If Zagat to discover the interests (rated) close, Google Offers can benefit from the latest deals, easily located. Navigation has meanwhile been optimized, with live reports on traffic problems, but also alerts if a better route is available. In fact, Maps is positioned more as an alternative to GPS and other warning of "danger zones."
If Maps was already back on the iPhone to compete with the disappointing Apple mapping app, it was still not available on the iPad inspired by iOS 6. This is now done.
