Apple and
Motorola have announced accept to abandon several lawsuits that had no less than 14 patents in question. They were all centralized justice in Florida, a trial will take place in August 2014, arguing that each brings its various evidence on each point. Apple has agreed to cancel six patents, 8 side of Motorola. Apple had already canceled two earlier. For now, the decision of the two companies should be accepted by the Court. The latter is likely to accept the Common Application.
To recap, the action began in October 2010. Motorola accused Apple of patent infringement. The company sought to ban the products of its competitors as well as prohibit the promotion and distribution. The tone is mounted when Google acquired Motorola in 2011. Motorola, Google and by extension, added other complaints against Apple. And since this year, the legal attacks have continued unabated. In April, Apple had won a round.
