Decidedly very active in the niche phablet, Chinese manufacturer Huawei has unveiled a new device size 5'', equipped with some interesting features.
Already present on the smartphone market "giants", including the famous Ascend Mate 6.3'', Huawei continues to explore this field more fertile with the A199, freshly announced on its website (in Chinese).
Without typing in the very upscale and remaining relatively reasonable on the screen size, the A199 is an Android 4.1 smartphone with a 5'' screen at 720p, with enticing enough measurements: only 8.9 mm thick and weighs 160g. Inside, there is a "home" quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, 8 GB of storage expandable via microSD, and a battery of 2150 mAh. Camera side, we remain in the mid-range, with a sensor at the rear 8 mp and 1.3 mp front. Latest feature: it is equipped with a dual SIM card reader.
The price of the A199 is not yet known, but knowing Huawei, one can expect aggressive pricing, and adapted to the realities of the Chinese market. And as usual, it was released in Europe is a fairly remote possibility.
