On Monday, Apple officially
unveiled iOS 7 with a new design, new features and much more (read: WWDC: iOS 7,
the change is now!). Rumors had seen in the whole show just what the moles still
exist in Cupertino. Nevertheless, the new software update aside the iPhone 3G
and first generation iPad. It was to be expected, the phone is released in 2009
and the tablet followed the next year. The internal components are not up to
par to run iOS 7. Indeed, according to early returns, the update on the iPhone 4
is not fluid, so it is easy to guess the result of a previous generation.
In addition to support, iOS 7 has some functions. Some are not available on all devices. Apple often uses this practice in order to motivate the user to obtain the latest generation of products in order to access all features. In other cases, the necessary components are not included and which prevent the operation.

For example, the camera does
a "square" mode and scan a finger to change modes (photo, video, square,
panorama). All devices will benefit except the iPad 2. Always at the camera,
filters are emerging. The trend started with Instagram has taken, to the extent
that the Twitter and Facebook applications also integrated it. These filters in
iOS 7 is reserved for the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G. They can be found on the other
in the Photos application (except iPad 2).
For its part, AirDrop which easily share files between iOS devices will be compatible with the iPhone 5, iPad fourth generation, the mini iPad and iPod touch 5G. Finally, Siri, the voice assistant, is still not available on the iPhone 4 and the iPad 2. iTunes Radio, the music service from Apple online, can meanwhile be enjoyed on all iOS 7 compatible devices.
iOS 7 is now available in beta for developers. The public will expect this fall in order to install it on their device. As a reminder, the list of compatible devices are: iPhone 4 and, iPad 2 and, mini iPad and iPod touch 5G.
