Today we will see how you can switch between applications running on the iPad. We'll start from the beginning and I guess you're new to the iPad.
When you start the iPad, you will see the screen MBR. This is normally complete applications that are pre-installed with the system. For
example, in the upper left side of the screen you will see "Messages",
then from left to right you will see "Facetime" and "Pictures".
The order may be different on your iPad but it will be if you chose to move applications to.
Moving your finger from side to side in a sweeping motion moves across the screen and you will see more applications. This will normally be full of applications that you have downloaded from the App Store.
The reason you want to learn how to share applications quickly using the Quick task essentially is to save you time searching through all the applications you have installed. You can use the search bar, but if it is an application that you use every day, it is much faster to use the Quick down task.
Here is how you switch between applications quickly on the iPad:
1. Press twice quickly on the home button.
2. A bar appears at the bottom with all your recently used applications. This will also include applications running or stationary applications in memory.
3. Slide your finger across from right to left until you find the application you want.
4. Press once to select it and start the application.
5. Start from step 1 each time you want to share an application.
If you are using the latest iOS6 on your iPad, you can bring up the bar faster quick task by placing four fingers on the iPad and slide in upward movement.
So start with your index finger and finish with your finger and make sure they are all touching the screen, then drag up and you will see the bar quick tasks to select a previous application.
The above is how to save time and quickly switch between your most used applications on the iPad.
If you use applications like Spotify to listen to your music, you will also be able to control the volume of your music and the brightness of the iPad from the same Quick task.
