From 16 May, the new CEO of Intel appointed by the Board of Directors Brian Krzanich and Renée J. James as President.
After forty years at the head of Intel Paul Otellini reported last November that he was retiring. The
Santa Clara firm then had until May to find a new CEO, and it's done:
Brian Krzanich take over the reins of the company with effect from 16
May.
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich May 2013Mais which is Brian Krzanich? Hired in 1982 as an engineer to study the process of making processors, he gradually rose through the ranks, as responsible for the development of etching technology transistors 0.13 micron between 2001 and 2003, and later as head units manufacturing and testing within Intel's Fab worldwide. More recently, the man was responsible for the burning process optimization as well as the entry of Intel in the Global 450 Consortium, for the transition to 450 mm wafers. Finally, in January 2012 Brian Krzanich took the position of chief operating officer and is at the head of the 50,000 employees of different manufacturing units of the group. Now you know the rest ...
Renée J. President James May 2013Le Intel Intel board of directors also elected Renee J. James to the position of President. It will work with Brian Krzanich the proper development of the U.S. firm. And while the latter will provide technical expertise of manufacturing processes, Renée J. James played the card of complementarity, the strong experience gained while working in the development of software strategy and Intel services, in collaboration with various companies in the sector, such as Microsoft or Apple.
Renée J. James and Brian Krzanich then each bring their skills and expertise in the development and Intel's growth for years to come. An idyllic vision that the Exchange does not seem to share too much, as Intel has lost 0.31% after the announcement.
