Samsung, the world leader in mobile phones, announced that it has sold 10 million units of its latest smartphone, the Galaxy S4, since its worldwide release on April 26.
Direct competitor of the iPhone 5, the S4 has passed the 10 million sold in less than a month then copies it took nearly two months to its predecessor, the S3 to do so, said south Korean group said in a statement.
The S4 offers little technological revolution but improvements including a large high-definition screen (5 inches, 12.7 inches), a battery and a more powerful camera. In addition, the manufacturer has the terminal a lot of features for developing applications.
Samsung sold about 60 million units of the S3 since May 2012.
